Bribes

On BaseX, external entities can offer financial incentives, referred to as bribes, to persuade veBXT voters to support specific gauges each epoch.

Our bribe marketplace is permissionless and open to the public. It allows anyone to add a bribe for any pair on the platform with just a few simple steps. However, only pre-approved custom tokens can be used as bribes.

Bribes can be proposed at any point during the epoch, and are held in trust for the length of the epoch for which they are offered. veBXT voters can then claim these bribes in a lump sum once the epoch ends.
