Voting Gauges

Gauges function as instruments that monitor the voting preferences of veBXT holders. They are crucial in distributing emissions and rewards among different liquidity pools, based on the votes. Gauges encourage active involvement by ensuring equitable distribution.

Active gauges are derived from token whitelisting. Partners can establish dedicated gauges for tokens within BaseX. New gauges need to be manually whitelisted by the BaseX team.

To request a custom gauge, contact the team through [Discord]. Moreover, the team reserves the right to create gauges for 'core' tokens like cbETH and USDC, thereby maximizing the use case and functionality of BaseX.
